Mobile technology is rapidly advancing, leading to an increased demand for digital entertainment, particularly Android games. This research aims to design and build a 2D endless runner game titled “Shadow Veil” using the Godot Engine. “Shadow Veil” is an endless runner game featuring action elements, including a combat system against enemies, combined with a fantasy theme. In this game, players control a character that continuously runs while facing various obstacles and enemies that block the path. The method employed in this research is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC), which consists of five stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, and release. The game was tested using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functions and features operate correctly. The results indicate that the game “Shadow Veil” has been successfully developed and runs well on the Android platform, with all gameplay features, attack systems, scoring systems, and user interfaces functioning as intended. This game is expected to be an engaging entertainment option while also providing educational value to players by enhancing reflexes, agility, and quick decision-making when facing obstacles and enemies.
