This community service program aimed to provide training on compost production using Effective Microorganisms (EM4) for livestock waste utilization. The program applied a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design, involving 30 participants consisting of farmers, livestock breeders, and local youth. Activities included preparation, socialization, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Evaluation used a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5, 15 items) and compost quality tests based on final temperature (°C), moisture content (%), pH, C/N ratio, color descriptors, and odor assessed by a subjective calibrated scale. Results indicated an increase in mean knowledge scores from 62% to 88% and skills from 58% to 85% (p < 0.05). A total of 80% of participants agreed that the material was relevant, while 75% found the practice easy to implement. The produced compost met quality standards with stable final temperature (31°C), appropriate moisture content, optimal pH, and C/N ratio of 23:1. The training effectively enhanced participants' capacity in livestock waste management and produced quality compost, although economic potential requires further study.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Muslim Lubis, Dio Arif Hanafi Harianja, Tasya Ika Saylani Tarigan, Natasya Natasyahttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1638Edukasi 10 Pesan Gizi Seimbang dengan Penerapan "Isi Piringku" pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Locare 12025-12-30T10:33:13+00:00Bhim Prakosobhimprakoso@gmail.comCiplis Gema Qori’ahciplisgema@gmail.comAdhitya Wardhonoadhitya@gmail.comM Abd Nasirnasir@gmail.comAgung Nugroho Puspitoanpuspito@unej.ac.idAkmal Iqbal Makmaliqbal@gmail.comErwina Dwi Yerwina@gmail.comNajmah Tsuraya Znajmah@gmail.comSandrina Naura Fsandriana@gmail.comSefia Aura Asefia@gmail.comShofiatur Rshofiatur@gmail.comDini Permatadini@gmail.com
There is still a widespread lack of control over their diet, which can negatively impact their health. Most people, especially children, ignore the consequences and are primarily driven by hunger and curiosity about food. They are more attracted to food when they find something they find unique and different. Nowadays, more and more foods are being mixed with colorings, preservatives, and flavorings, which makes children want to continue consuming them. Consuming them too often can be detrimental to their health both now and in the future. Lack of knowledge about healthy eating for children and their parents leads them to neglect the food they eat. As time progresses, food types become more diverse, such as the increasing availability of fast food and instant foods, which are easily accessible but have negative health impacts. In this journal, we took samples from elementary school students. The purpose of this journal is to introduce children, especially elementary school students, to implementing a balanced diet through the concept of "fill my plate." The method used is by delivering material in elementary school and asking questions to gauge their understanding of the material presented. The results of the activities carried out showed that many elementary school students still lack knowledge about the types of healthy foods and healthy eating patterns for the body. It can be concluded that many elementary school students still lack understanding about healthy food, due to limited access, both from their families and their economic conditions, which are inadequate to find nutritious food. Social projects related to balanced nutrition are very urgent and important as an effort to support government programs related to the health and welfare of the Indonesian people.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Bhim Prakoso, Ciplis Gema Qori’ah, Adhitya Wardhono, M Abd Nasir, Agung Nugroho Puspito, Akmal Iqbal M, Erwina Dwi Y, Najmah Tsuraya Z, Sandrina Naura F, Sefia Aura A, Shofiatur R, Dini Permatahttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1664Pelatihan Manajemen Keuangan Sederhana bagi Pelaku UMKM di Dusun Karang Lamper2025-12-30T10:33:05+00:00Ni Kadek Kristiani Wahyuningkristianiwahyuning@gmail.comHabibi Habibihabibi@gmail.comDewi Kusumasanthidewi@gmail.comI Komang Widya Purnamayasakomang@gmail.com
Simple financial management training is an effort to improve the financial literacy of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Karang Lamper Hamlet, Jagaraga Indah Village, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. This activity aims to improve the ability of MSMEs to record income, expenses, and calculate business profits independently. The implementation method includes initial observation, socialization, simple cash book training through personal visits, and evaluation by distributing questionnaires and directly checking the results of the recording. A total of 10 MSMEs participated in this program. The evaluation results showed that 70% of participants began recording finances regularly, 100% felt helped in managing business finances, and 90% considered the cash book easy to use. Education is seen as a process that allows a person to grow and develop their potential. According to Ki Hajar Dewantara, education aims to advance the development of the child's character, mind and body. Education has a big role in producing quality human resources and being able to compete healthily. Elementary school (SD) is an educational institution that teaches the basics of intelligence, knowledge, personality, noble character, and life skills to develop potential and prepare students to continue their education to a higher level. In this context, SD Negeri Penambangan in Curahdami sub-district, Bondowoso district was chosen to implement a social project for the Pancasila Education course. The school has limited access, a less strategic location, and a small number of students, 47 students with an average class size of less than 10. Some students also do not understand basic reading, writing and arithmetic. In addition, many of them do not eat breakfast before going to school and buy unhealthy snacks, such as fried foods and packaged drinks, during break time. The project was carried out in four stages: planning, survey, implementation and closure, with the aim of providing students with an understanding of the importance of a healthy diet and balanced nutrition. The material delivery that we use such as direct material exposure, Video playback of material, reading and writing, practice doing hand washing activities, and building puzzles. At the end of the activity, it is expected that students not only understand the theory of balanced nutrition, but also can apply it in everyday life, both at home and at school. Teachers and parents are expected to support students in choosing healthy food, and schools can create a culture of healthy living that supports students' health and learning achievement. Thus, students are expected to grow into healthy, smart, and productive individuals.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ciplis Gema Qori’ah, Adhitya Wardhono, Bhim Prakoso, M Abd Nasir, Agung Nugroho Puspito, Nabila Nuraini Eka Putri, Dian Aulia Ramadhani, Loveis Critzylla Firdaus, Anggi Najwa Puteri, Hurin Silmi Maulida, Maulidya Nur Apriliantikahttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1667Sosialisasi Pentingnya Moderasi Beragama sejak Dini melalui Video 'Berbeda Itu Indah' dalam Upaya Membangun Toleransi Santri Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) Jawahirul Qur'an2025-12-30T10:33:02+00:00Mohamad Mujahid Islamudin220102110017@student.uin-malang.ac.idYeni Mukhlisohyeni@gmail.comWulan Nur Hardianawulan@gmail.comRohmatul Ainirohmatul@gmail.comRadinna Maulida Mahezwariradinna@gmail.com
Indonesia’s religious and cultural diversity requires early religious moderation education to prevent intolerance and promote harmonious social interaction. However, most Quranic Learning Centers (TPQ) do not yet implement a structured and developmentally appropriate model for teaching moderation values to children. This program aimed to enhance students’ understanding of tolerance through a socialization activity using the animated video “Berbeda Itu Indah” (Differences Are Beautiful) combined with group discussions, role-play, and LOTS-based evaluation. The activity involved 200 students aged 6-12 and was conducted over 90 minutes, including video screening, guided dialogue, interactive simulations, and a five-item oral quiz for volunteers. Results indicate a participation rate above 85% and improved comprehension, reflected in students’ ability to express tolerant actions such as respecting peers of different religions and resolving disagreements peacefully. The use of audiovisual media effectively supported the concretization of abstract concepts, while a simple reward system increased learning motivation. Despite limitations in duration and supporting media, the program successfully fostered foundational moderation values and provides a replicable instructional model for other TPQ institutions. These findings reinforce the effectiveness of audiovisual-interactive approaches in cultivating early tolerance and religious moderation among children.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Mohamad Mujahid Islamudin, Yeni Mukhlisoh, Wulan Nur Hardiana, Rohmatul Aini, Radinna Maulida Mahezwarihttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1636Pembelajaran dan Pengaplikasian Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Klabang 3 Guna Mewujudkan Gemilang (Generasi Maju, Inovatif, dan Cemerlang)2025-12-30T10:33:28+00:00Adhitya Wardhonoadhitya@gmail.comCiplis Gema Qori’ahciplisgema@gmail.comBhim Prakosobhimprakoso@gmail.comM Abd Nasirnasir@gmail.comAgung Nugroho Puspitoanpuspito@unej.ac.idRumaisya Aatikah Ruskayarumaisya@gmail.comArifah Zahra Dhamargitaarifah@gmail.comLintang Wulan Rika Efendilintang@gmail.comDel Viera Alphi Nur Syaharadelviera@gmail.comAmalia Nurul Inayahamalia@gmail.comFa’iz Salsabila Dwina Feiyantifaizsalsabila@gmail.com
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) teaching activities at Klabang 3 State Elementary School aim to increase students' awareness of the importance of maintaining health. However, in many Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), the integration of technology into the teaching process is still limited, resulting in less innovative instructional delivery. This community service program was conducted to improve the competence of teachers and prospective teachers at Daarussalam Islamic Boarding School, Depok City, particularly in designing digital learning media using Microsoft PowerPoint. The training consisted of three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. During the implementation stage, participants were introduced to basic PowerPoint features, effective educational visual design techniques, and the integration of Islamic values into the media content. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires and participant feedback to assess the effectiveness of the program. The results indicated that the training was highly successful, as participants were able to produce their own digital learning media and expressed increased creativity in delivering instructional materials. Limited knowledge about drug–food interactions among adolescents may lead to reduced therapeutic effectiveness, increased risk of side effects, and inappropriate medication use. Therefore, educational activities are necessary to provide accurate information about the influence of food on drug therapy. The implementation method consisted of several stages: (1) a pre-test to assess students’ initial knowledge regarding drug food interactions; (2) an educational session delivered through PowerPoint presentations accompanied by interactive discussions and an educational crossword puzzle activity using printed media; and (3) a post-test to evaluate the improvement in students’ understanding after the educational intervention. Both the pre-test and post-test were conducted independently using Google Forms. The activity was carried out on Monday, December 1, 2025, and involved Grade XII students of SMK Farmasi Maharani Malang. The evaluation results showed an improvement in students’ understanding after participating in the educational activity. The program was implemented at SDN Badean 03, Bondowoso District, Bondowoso Regency, involving 36 students from grades 1 to 6. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, as well as pre-tests and post-tests. Reading literacy activities were focused on grades 1 and 2 through read-aloud sessions and vocabulary games, while financial literacy activities targeted grades 3 to 6 through the creation of piggy banks from recycled materials and saving simulations. The results indicated an improvement in basic reading skills, as reflected by a shift in students’ reading ability categories, with the percentage of students in the moderately fluent category increasing from 22.22% in the initial condition to 33.33% in the final condition, accompanied by a decrease in the less fluent category. These findings suggest that the literacy interventions were effective in supporting students with lower reading proficiency to progress to higher levels. In addition to cognitive improvement, the program also had positive effects on students’ affective aspects, including increased self-confidence, responsibility, and learning enthusiasm. Therefore, this integrated literacy program is effective in fostering a reading culture and enhancing financial awareness among students from an early age.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sitta Kurrata A'yun, Fahimatul Anis, Faidiyah Ramdhaniyah, Anabella Azahratul Chriska, Aditya Pratama, Cantika Nathania Sabela, Ayu Shakina Isabella, Agung Nugroho Puspitohttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1684Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Interaktif untuk Meningkatkan Rasa Percaya Diri Siswa di SD Sumber Dumpyong 3, Kabupaten Bondowoso2026-01-09T14:57:42+00:00Dionisius Primario Migo Segumariooke0610@gmail.comNabila Zhaiyan Nazhifanabila@gmail.comPutri Wibi Lintang Eristianputri@gmail.comIntan Nur Oliviaintan@gmail.comNessa Khairanessa@gmail.comZahra Jihan Putri Heldiyantozahrameisy2002@gmail.comAfton Al Habsyiafton@gmail.comAgung Nugroho Puspitoagung@gmail.com
Self-confidence is an important psychological factor that influences elementary school students' participation and courage in the learning process. However, teacher-centered learning often limits students' active involvement, resulting in low self-confidence, especially in oral communication. This community service activity aims to analyze the effect of interactive learning on increasing students' self-confidence at Sumber Dumpyong 3 Elementary School in Bondowoso Regency. The activity was carried out using a pretest-posttest design with a descriptive quantitative approach. There were 40 students in grades I-VI, aged 7-12 years, who participated in the activity. The interactive learning intervention was carried out during the period of August 30 to October 17, 2025, with a duration of 2 × 35 minutes for each learning session. Self-confidence was measured using a closed questionnaire consisting of 10 statements in the pretest and 10 statements in the posttest, with a maximum total score of 40. Data analysis was performed by calculating the average score and normalized gain (N-gain) to determine the increase in students' self-confidence after the intervention. The results showed a pretest average score of 22.71, which increased to 30.22 on the posttest. The N-gain calculation yielded a value of 0.30, which falls into the moderate category. These findings were supported by classroom observations that showed an increase in students' courage to ask questions, participate in discussions, and express their opinions. Thus, interactive learning has been proven to have a positive impact on strengthening the self-confidence and participation of elementary school students, although a longer intervention period is needed to achieve optimal improvement.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Dionisius Primario Migo Segu, Nabila Zhaiyan Nazhifa, Putri Wibi Lintang Eristian, Intan Nur Olivia, Nessa Khaira, Zahra Jihan Putri Heldiyanto, Afton Al Habsyi, Agung Nugroho Puspitohttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1687Dari Hati ke Bumi: Merajut Empati Anti-Bullying dan Menumbuhkan Kepedulian Melalui Praktek Daur Ulang Sampah Anorganik di SD PEKAUMAN2026-01-10T16:20:01+00:00Muhammad Ali Budiansyah250210204186@mail.unej.ac.idAgistya Ningsih Prasistiyaagistya@gmail.comOrsela Dwi Ratnasariorsela@gmail.comDea Adeliadea@gmail.comAlya Mutiara Rohmahalya@gmail.comAbrisam Fatih Junanabrisam@gmail.comNur Ainiaini@gmail.comTrapsila Siwi Hutamitrapsila@gmail.comAgung Nugroho Puspitoagung@gmail.com
Bullying in schools and low awareness of environmental conservation are two important issues that need to be addressed early on. UNESCO data (2019) shows that globally, nearly one in three students experience bullying. In Indonesia, the KPAI Survey (2022) noted an increase in bullying cases, with 51% occurring in elementary schools, indicating the urgency of early intervention. This activity evaluated the effectiveness of education in increasing students' knowledge about bullying prevention and their understanding and skills in recycling. Participatory methods such as interactive stories, simulations, and creative workshops involved 42 students. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement. A total of 85% of 3rd and 4th grade students were able to identify forms of bullying and how to deal with them. Meanwhile, 90% of students in grades 3 to 6 successfully created recycled products and their awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness increased. The interactive and direct educational approach proved to be effective. The integration of these two topics into the school program is recommended to shape students' character to be socially and environmentally conscious in a sustainable manner.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Ali Budiansyah, Agistya Ningsih Prasistiya, Orsela Dwi Ratnasari, Dea Adelia, Alya Mutiara Rohmah, Abrisam Fatih Junan, Nur Aini, Trapsila Siwi Hutami, Agung Nugroho Puspitohttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1683Penerapan Pembelajaran Tematik untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Matematika, Seni, dan Bahasa Inggris di SDN Locare 01 Bondowoso2026-01-10T16:20:05+00:00Sintya Fadillahsintya@gmail.comNadifa Nuril Diananadifa@gmail.comDaniah Humam Bafadal250210204102@mail.unej.ac.idQurratul Faisah Firdausqurratul@gmail.comOctavia Dwike Ramadhanioctavia@gmail.comFadlurahman Nafis Januarjanuar@gmail.comShine Asmaul Khusnah Mandiarushine@gmail.comWeldy Nugroho Detagoryweldy@gmail.comAgung Nugroho Puspitoagung@gmail.com
This study aims to analyze and identify effective strategies for improving the quality of learning in Mathematics, Art, and English subjects at SDN Locare 01 Bondowoso. The background of this research highlights several challenges in achieving optimal learning outcomes, particularly in enhancing students’ interest and connecting the learning materials with real-life contexts. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and the school principal, as well as document analysis of curriculum materials and students’ learning outcomes. The learning improvement strategies explored include the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in Mathematics, project-based learning for Art and English subjects, and the integration of simple technology and interactive learning media to create more engaging learning experiences. The findings indicate that integrated learning strategies focusing on active student participation significantly improve conceptual understanding, creativity, and learning motivation. These results align with Wahyuni (2016), who found that contextual learning helps students connect mathematical concepts with daily life situations. Similarly, Marni (2022) emphasized that project-based learning in Art effectively fosters students’ creativity and collaboration, while Ajiza and Rahman (2021) demonstrated that Audio-Lingual and Total Physical Response (TPR) methods increase elementary students’ motivation in learning English. This study recommends enhancing teacher collaboration, providing continuous professional development, and conducting regular evaluations to sustain innovative learning practices and ensure the continuous improvement of education quality at SDN Locare 01 Bondowoso.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sintya Fadillah, Nadifa Nuril Diana, Daniah Humam Bafadal, Qurratul Faisah Firdaus, Octavia Dwike Ramadhani, Fadlurahman Nafis Januar, Shine Asmaul Khusnah Mandiaru, Weldy Nugroho Detagory, Agung Nugroho Puspitohttps://journal.stmiki.ac.id/index.php/jpni/article/view/1690Rebranding Agrowisata Kebun Herbal Kesuma Bangsa Menjadi Eduagrowisata Ramah Keluarga2026-01-10T16:19:58+00:00Feti Armanfeti@gmail.comDwi Agus Riyantoagus@gmail.comTaufik Rahmantaufikrahmanm.t@gmail.com
Limited equipment and limited skills are hindering the promotion of the Kesuma Bangsa Herbal Garden Agrotourism. Lack of knowledge of modern production techniques and efficient practices leads to low capacity. Furthermore, inconsistent quality is a challenge due to inefficient introduction and marketing. The lack of a clear and measurable business plan, particularly in terms of manual financial record-keeping, poses a risk of errors in cash management, which ultimately negatively impacts business sustainability. Limited knowledge of marketing and promotion, limited access to markets and distribution networks, and less than optimal use of digital marketing methods. Consequently, the Kesuma Bangsa Herbal Garden Agrotourism market access is limited. Through this community service, the Kesuma Bangsa Herbal Garden Agrotourism market will be expanded not only locally but also nationally. The Kesuma Bangsa Herbal Garden Agrotourism still faces limitations in digital marketing, particularly in understanding information technology that can be used to improve its business. This limitation impacts partners' lack of digital marketing skills. The Kesuma Bangsa Herbal Garden Agrotourism product lacks a clear branding strategy to differentiate its products in the market. This makes it difficult for the business to grow and compete, especially with other MSMEs that already have their own unique offerings. The problem formulation must be stated concretely and clearly in the introduction. Explain the objectives to be achieved through the community service activities with measurable and realistic targets. Also outline the expected benefits of the community service activities for both the target audience and the development of knowledge.
2026-01-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Feti Arman, Dwi Agus Riyanto, Taufik Rahman
